Laughta, the trailblazing Lebanese rapper and music producer hailing from London, is rewriting the narrative of UK-Arabic fusion rap. With an undeniable star power and a unique style shaped by her multi-cultural background—born in Nigeria and of Lebanese descent—Laughta has become a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. This was underscored by her receipt of the prestigious BBC Introducing 'One to Watch' accolade at the 2023 AIM Independent Music Awards in London.
