Nelson D x Iggor Cavalera is an encounter of two Latin American musicians who have lived abroad and now search for connections with our roots from the ancestral tribes of Brazil. Our idea is to raise awareness of our heritage through music, bridging the traditional ancestral to contemporary music-making. It also bridges the encounter of different generations of musicians where Iggor represents the elders while Nelson, the youth. It all started when Iggor came across an online post of a native Brazilian indigenous playing an electronic set. Iggor immediately contacted Nelson as he felt his potential. Iggor and Nelson have been collaborating remotely by exchanging files and writing music.
